Event Description : ART EXHIBITION 'Anterman' solo show of paintings by Amita Prithviwasi
Her works are in a mix of earthen shades, contrasting colors, painted upon the canvases and sheets. Her work shows a technique centered works of art in Acrylic colors as the bright shades of it are a source of muse to her.
Having attained a vast knowledge in the field of digital painting, manual painting and photography, Amita has made her mark by showcasing her works at various exhibitions. Honing her skills for all these years and learning from every experience that unfolded in front of her, Amita Prithviwasi is all set to present her new collection of art pieces – Anterman - in a vibrant depiction of landscapes and nature.
The collection portrays Amita’s understanding of her surroundings and the innate calming nature of everything that envelopes us. Through her paintings the artist tries to bring forth her interpretation of the connection between the inner conscious mind and the universe that one can draw energy from when focus is right.
In her words, Amita explains, “All my work define the concept of Focus and are a way of meditation in my personal life. I have attempted to bring the consciousness of my being to my soul, and am done in a peaceful state of mine ."
Dwelling into digital painting for a fairly long time Prithviwasi decided to explore the terrains of manual painting and here she is presenting her inner state of calmness using Acrylic on canvas and sheets. Her choice of colours is vivacious; she draws her inspiration from bright and bold colours and weaves them around the earthiness of natural tones to give her artworks gravity and substance. The contrast and depth of Amita Prithviwasi’s paintings have a mystic aura adhered to her artworks which are worth a watch.
About The Artist: Amita Prithviwasi is a passionate woman who draws inspiration for her artworks from her conscious and everything that propels her existence. She is a Delhi based painter and photographer and has a double Bachelor's and Double Masters degree to her credit. She has participated in several workshops and exhibitions pertaining to the realm of art, painting and photography and has accumulated many Annual Diplomas in the said fields. Digital Painting had her heart since the inception of her career in art for a long time until only a couple of decades ago that she began exploring manual painting.
