This dance festival aims to instil recognition, pride and confidence in the age-old tradition of ‘Guru-shishya pramapara’ and in return offer obeisance to the great Gurus of Jaipur Gharana Kathak, for the likes of; Guru Pt. Hiralal, Guru Pt. Sunder Prasad, Guru Pt. Jailal, Guru Pt. Ramgopal Misra, Guru Pt. Kundan Lal, Guru Pt. Devi Lal & Guru Pt. Durga Lal, who remain as role models to all ‘Kathakars’ in this field.
