Event Description : ART EXHIBITION “Prakriti-Kal, Aaj Aur Kal” group show by Charu Kumar and Shivangi Gupta
Shivangi Gupta, after completing from NIFT, Delhi, did her Masters in Textile Practice from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. She articulates her thoughts by combining
different media and techniques like embroidery, crochet, stitching, photography and more. Traditional crafts are close to her heart. She captures the essence and spirit of traditional
crafts in her contemporary art work. Her work is symphony of silhouette, color, pattern and texture.
Charu Kumar, believes in “Innovation in contemporary Painting” and was awarded PhD (Drawing & Painting) by Barkatullah University, Bhopal. Since last decade, her practice has evolved, in search of the space and medium to define her thoughts - unhindered, smooth
and transparent.
