One of the finest harmonium players and introducer in recent history has been Bhaiya Sahib GanpatRao of Gwalior. It is in his honor that the Pt.BhaiyaGanpatRao memorial trust was established by none other than Padma Shri awardee Mehmood Dholpuri(Harmonium Nawaz). Trained under Guru taan Samrat Naseer Ahmad Khan sahab of Delhi Gharana, Dholpuri sahab played as an accompanist to leading vocalists Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Sahab, Ustad Rashid Khan, Ustad Salamat Ali Nazakat Ali Khan, Ustad AbdulRashid khan Sahab  Rajan-Sajan Mishra, Parveen Sultana, Pt.Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. It was to his exceptional work that, The Government of India awarded him the fourth highest civilian honour of the Padma Shri, in 2006, for his contributions to Music, making him the first harmonium player to receive the award.

His son Zakir Dholpuri (Harmonium player) and Aditya Abhilash now leads the Trust with the purpose to connect every performing artist especially those from Hindustani classical backgrounds to get optimum visibility to bring forth their talent.
