Event Description : EXHIBITION "Beyond the tangibles (Part-II)" Solo painting show by Yograj Verma
Solo show of oil paintings on canvas by Yograj Verma about the unraveled expression of faith and true depiction of divine bonding.
“I dream of painting and then I paint my dream” – Vincent Van Gogh
On the path of self-discovery, Yograj Verma a renowned artist from Delhi believes that painting is a picture of thought and music of sight. Drawing an inspiration from Hindu mythology, Yograj Verma paints with the heart and builds with the mind. “I paint the spirit and soul of what I see” – says Yograj Verma, who indulges in oil paintings displaying muddy moods and scintillating blues.
This painting of his depicts Vishnu as Padmanabha. Padmanabha is a lotus-naveled god and the one from whose navel sprang the lotus which contained Brahma, who created the universe.
No wonder Yograj Verma feels it worthwhile to go back to his studio every morning, year after year to create a world of power to learn, grow and appreciate the art of untold ancient mythological tales dipped in mystic hues and colourful rainbows.
