 HISTORY TALK "The Many Lives of Aurangzeb" by Audrey Truschke, Assistant Professor of South Asian History at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey. 

A History for Peace Event. 

Aurangzeb Alamgir, the sixth ruler of the Mughal Empire and one of the most important political figures of early modern India, is crudely caricatured today. In this talk, the speaker situates Aurangzeb in his historical context and analyzes his actions as an Indian king.
