Synopsis :-
After doing more than 400 successful shows in different parts of India, The Films and Theatre Society is launching it's Brand new Production Block-Buster Comedy Show "LOL" (Lots of Love).
This live comedy show in an ensemble of five short and hilarious love stories, which bring out the funny realities of our everyday lives and make us all fall in love, once again. The show is packaged with stand-up comedy acts, dance, music and lot more.
The stories being performed are funny takes on routine encounters, celebrating the innocence, desperation, and bickering; the essence of modern day love. Throughout the stories, love crops up, sustains, stumbles, fails and then blooms all over again. You surely remember the first time you skipped a beat in love. If not, this show will make you experience love like never before:
A look at the 5 stories:
Heroine: On his “Suhaag Rat” a typical punjabi farmer discovers that his “Dulhan” actually wants to become a heroine in Punjabi Superstar Diljit Dosanjh’s film. Out of sheer love for his wife, he, along with his younger brother, sets out to make his wife a Heroine. Having produced wheat and rice all his years, he is about to produce a Punjabi film now.
Chatter Box: A middle aged man, once a chatter box, but now gone quiet, is being visited by a school girl regularly. The girl irritates him to the core but she wants him to speak up, as she is seeking some answers. Carrying her mother’s baggage, the girl works hard to succeed. But she does not know that when he will speak, it may be more irritating than his silence.
Chai-Biskut: A small town girl gets attracted to a tenant in their house who doesn’t care more than the chai-biskut she serves him each day. On discovering that the tenant has been visiting call-girls for his needs, she offers him the same services at half the price. Is it her innocence or the inherent boldness of small- town girls? She may seem foolish; but isn’t Love a fool’s errand.
Do it. Please!: A working class couple is in the fifth year of marriage and the sexual appetite of the woman has only increased over years. But to her dismay all her sexual experiments are met with the dumbest reactions from her husband. Unable to really speak up her mind she is frustrated and decides to take a call. So does her husband, who doesn’t have a clue about his wife’s plans.
Another Mother: A young boy living with a much older woman is still discovering and enjoying the pleasures and perils of being in love with a privileged woman, while the woman wants him to grow up and be a man who can take care of her. However, the woman’s mother wants none of this to happen.
Come, take a dip into this infinite ocean. Laugh a little, feel a little lump in your throat and discover a smile suddenly appearing on your face with LOL (Lots Of Love!).
