Event Description : EXHIBITION "Journey through Shapes & Shades......." Group show of Paintings & Photographs by Inderjeet Grover & Furqan Khan
About the Painter : Inderjeet Grover followed his arty notion and reached his destination by embracing his present leadership responsibility to work in right direction to promote Indian art and uplift Indian artists with best of his effort. Taking over as the director of North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC), at Allahabad, has been like dream come true for him as he always wanted to be the ambassador of art and culture so that he can serve towards progressive betterment in this field. By means of help and support of his team and other officials in Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, he wishes to bring significant change in the process of organizing regular art happenings, by creating more opportunities and providing suitable platform to showcase diverse artistic wonders of India.
Meeting people from art domain through his known proximity in his youth made Indrajeet drawn towards art and he gradually developed keen interest to take up creative career that finally brought him to be in precise space to make his artistic journey reasonably meaningful not only for himself but for all those dedicated creative people who are tirelessly contributing to the field of art in India. Since the time of his formal Fine art training at College of Art, New Delhi, he got immense opportunity to know about skills and techniques of art practices in India. His long working life as artist and also as organizer of various art events led him to know many contemporary practicing artists and their works closely, which created a strong foundation for him. Before he achieved his present state of prime position he experienced all hurdles and struggle, which every artist and creative professional go through.
