Event Description : Play/Text: 4-day Theatre Workshop


How do words on a page become a play on the stage? This 4-day workshop begins with text as the starting point for exploring the craft of theatre. Participants will look at short stories, scenes, and play texts, and the different approaches which are used to bring them alive. We will look at the various ingredients which go into cooking a play, and we’ll serve it up at the end. The workshop involves some writing, some acting, some directing, and a whole load of fun.
