Event Description : ART EXHIBITION "Indigenous Australia: Masterworks from National Gallery of Australia"

Australia is home to the world’s oldest continuous culture, with Indigenous culture stretching over 60,000 years. The NGA houses the world’s largest and most comprehensive collection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island art, which includes works by many of the most significant Indigenous artists in Australia. The exhibition features 102 artworks that date back from late 1800s through to today and includes paintings on canvas and bark, weaving and sculpture, new media, prints and photography.
