Event Description : Jamghat celebrates its 15th Anniversary.
Jamghat is one of Delhi’s leading non-profitable Child Care organisation and winner of several awards such as “Guide Star India” for its exceptional work in helping and guiding homeless and destitute street children by providing them with an enabling environment through a home, health care and education as well as conducting various activities such as street plays and stage performances to enhance the child’s confidence and help them to integrate into the larger society. To celebrate their 15 years of work, Jamghat will be presenting a stage performance on the 6th,7th and 8th of June, 2018 at the Shri Ram Centre (4, Safdar Hashmi Marg, Mandi House) New Delhi. On each of these days, the children of Jamghat will be performing a program as given below: A play called “Hum Bade Kaam ki Cheez” written by Mr. Jai Vardhan. The play has been directed by Jamghat’s staff and the cast consists entirely of Jamghat’s children. A dance performance choreographed by Choreotheque, a platform for the performing arts in New Delhi. A short film on Jamghat by Tuning Fork Film Workshops. Ms. Huma Qureshi will not only be gracing the show with her presence but will also inaugurate the event on all three days.
