Speaker: Prof. Marcel Courthiade, Professor and Head of the Rromani Studies Section, Department of South Asian Languages, INALCO, Paris-City Sorbonne and Commissioner for Language and Linguistic Rights, International Rromani Union

The talk will present the discovery/rediscovery of the Indian origin, ideological negation of this origin and of any Rromani identity, heritage, culture: the welfare syndrome; and perspectives of Indo-Rromani relationship
