TALK As a part of Women’s History Month programs, the American Center is organizing a discussion with Deepa Narayan and Nidhi Razdan.  Drawing from Dr. Narayan’s book 'Chup: Breaking the Silence About India's Women', the discussion will explore the ways women are conditioned to fear success and allow themselves to be made vulnerable to violence.  Dr. Narayan, one of Foreign Policy magazine’s 100

Most Influential Global Citizens and India Today’s 35 Great Indian Minds will be in conversation with Nidhi Razdan, Executive Editor, NDTV to share her views on why current approaches to women's empowerment, entrepreneurship and leadership are unlikely to succeed in achieving gender equality because they are unable to overcome women's deep and early training to be “culturally good”, regardless of their intellectual beliefs on the issue.
