Event Description : EXHIBITION ‘Engross’ a group show of Paintings and sculptures by Sudip Roy, Niren Sen Gupta, Suresh Kumar, S C Ahuja
As the name itself is absorbing all the attention of the artists breath-taking masterpieces. ‘'Engross'’ an art show by the renowned artist like Sudip Roy, prof. Niren Sen Gupta, S.C Ahuja and Suresh Kumar.
Sudip Roy whose work includes pencil sketches and water colours, charcoals and a heady series of landscape done in limped line drawing. Sudip Roy's forte lies in his realistic and in-depth rendering of still life. One of his recent famed painting ‘Charulata’ is a perfectly demarcated figure which casts a spell on its beholders with the right touch of sensuality added to it. Time and again he has been transforming his canvas beautifully, into a succession of neatly hued fragments defined by strong contours. Considering his art work he said ,"Art is something which makes you breathe with different kind of happiness. " Some of his Art works include: Victoria Memorial painting ,Venice painting ; Mother Teresa painting
Also, Niren Sengupta is a contemporary artist, for him art is an expression of inner language. He finds lasting beauty in the serenity of the total surrender of monks of Ramakrishna Mission. A mission that signifies sacrifices and service to mankind. His works are aesthetic expressions of his inner reflections infused with serenity, sacrifice, service and beauty. His work showcase aesthetic expressions of his inner reflections infused with serenity, sacrifice, service and beauty. About his art work he said ,"art is an expression of inner language." His communion with happenings around him evolves and reflects in his works. He finds lasting beauty in the serenity of the total surrender of the monks of the Ramakrishna Mission, a mission that signifies sacrifices and service to mankind. His works are aesthetic expressions of his inner reflections infused with serenity, sacrifice, service and beauty. He has several solo and prestigious group exhibitions to his credit.
where as Suresh Kumar is a Bangalore-based Sculptor, He recently travelled to Uzbekistan for an international shows in "Srijan- Yatra" Group Exhibition and "The Bridge"international Art exhibition at The Nehru - Wangchuck Cutural Centre (NWCC)Bhutan . His recent project "The Per-Fumes " project was a response to Suresh’s ongoing concern about education in the arts, documentation of contemporary practices, and his interest in creating collective spaces for sharing in-process work. ‘It is also an ideological comment on Suresh’s approach to arts practice. He wished to develop the pedagogy of collaborative community and public art by documenting the work of 180 Bangalore-based visual artists via the medium of video. While expressing about his painting he said ," A sculpture is an Art of Intelligence."
He showcased his work at National Gallery of Modern Arts Delhi, Sahitya Kala Parishad ; Lalit Kala Akademi,New Delhi ; HUDCO, Air India for London & Hongkong Airports , Wockhardt & Company, Mumbai, Singapore, USA, He also did Eleven Solo shows at Mumbai, Pune, Chandigarh, Jaipur & USA & 53 Groups shows at Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Bangalore, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Ujjain, Mount Abu, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad & Gurgaon.
S.C Aahuja ,a renowned Sculpturer from Punjab who is Heavily inspired by our natural surroundings, his sculptures touch the everyday reality of an ordinary man. Envisioning the emotions and expressions of different people and decoding the same contemplation through the curves of his sculptures brings his expertise to the fore. In his recent work .he showcased sculptures of music artist.
He also mentioned "Art is not what you see but what you make others see. Moving forward with a vision to unveil the diversity in Indian ART, we at Allure Art have always been passionate about our work of reception and appreciation of varied art forms."
