Event Description : TALK "The Light of the Moon" by Pawo Choyning Dorji, a photographer from Bhutan, who has spent the past 3 years as retracing Xuanzang’s journey across the ancient Silk Road.

Introduction: Dzongskar Khyentse Rinpoche, a renowned Film maker and foremost Buddhist teacher

Xuanzang’s (602-664 CE) epic 18-year pilgrimage to India, is one of the most celebrated journeys in the history of mankind. The Light of the Moon, is an on-going project and in this lecture, it  takes us on a visual journey through the ancient corridors of the silk roads, through the valleys of Bamiyan, and the hidden lands of the Karakoram
