“Her Mother” tells the story of Harumi, a housewife who suffers the tragedy of her daughter’s murder. Harumi becomes obsessed with understanding the murderer’s motive. Her campaign to delay the murderer’s execution and her growing relationship with him, causes conflict within the family. A film that delves into the depth of family issues and grey truth.

About the Director:
Sato Yoshinori was born in Aichi, Japan and studied filmmaking at the University of Southern California. He works as a director in Japanese television alongside producing independent films. His film credits include Bad Child (2014).
