Event Description : Music and Dance Festival 

Hindustani classical vocal recital by Ujwal Nagar, followed by Kathak by Shailja Nalwade, disciple of Guru Urmila Nagar, and Kathak by Guru Urmila Nagar

Sangeet Ganga was established in 1975 by renowned artists Pandit Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Mrs Urmila Nagar and Ms Sulochana Brahaspati to popularize and propagate classical music among the youth. The organization primarily aims at providing a platform to the young upcoming artists so that they can reach out to the music lovers of the country.
Sangeet Ganga has organized  many prestigious music and dance festivals, lec-dems, seminars and workshops in the past to bring out the finer nuances of our rich music and dance traditions. The festivals have received appreciation not only from the general public but also from scholars and music critics as well.
Sangeet Ganga team comprises a bunch of young people Vishal Nagar, Neetu Nagar, Jai Maurya , Anshi Malik, Pooja Prasad, 
Faiyaz Ali and Varnika Yadav who are driven by their passion for Indian classical music and dance and their vision is to make Sangeet Ganga a platform for young ​upcoming musicians to showcase their talent and also preserve our rich cultural heritage and traditional values.
