Event Description : WALK by Sahapedia.

This 90-acre garden is dotted with royal tombs and other monuments of the Sayyid and Lodi dynasties and a few from the Mughal dynasty. Once named as Bagh-i-Jud (royal burial ground) during medieval times, it was later landscaped by the British in 1936 with native and exotic trees and plants and renamed as Lady Willingdon Park. It was given its present name, Lodi Gardens, after Independence in 1947. It is also a haven for birds and butterflies. Join us for a guided trail through this popular picnic spot.
