Event Description : THEATRE : Dramatized reading of Padma Shri Prahasana

A farce on artists and the politicking that goes into awards. When a faltering classical musician, Padma Aggarwal, loses her Padma Shri, she finds herself in the middle of a political drama. Surrounded by wily servants, foxy professors, and opportunist accompanists, Padma deals with treachery on all fronts. The reading will be followed by a Q&A session with the playwright and Prof. Bharat Gupt.
