About Rang-e-Khusro : Rang-e-Khusro,- remembering Hazrat Amir Khusro whose tremendous body of work is beyond comparison – he left us a heart warming, soul enriching legacy in many spheres of science, literature and the world of music and dance.
·         Please join us in celebratory tribute to a Rennaissance man in the truest sense.
·         His great body of work, indeed his whole life is a wonderful example of our “Ganga Jamni Tehzeeb”.  Hazrat Amir Khusro’s life and work increase in importance and relevance in these times of terror and destruction. The Sufi message of universalism, coexistence and love are most significant today.

Our main focus is on semi classical and classical music and dance and  Hindi and Urdu literature.
·         With this initiative we wish to direct our efforts to revive our country’s rich cultural heritage and provide an appealing alternative to lyrics which make words like “balatkaar” and “Halkat Jawani” the common denominator.
·         We aim to :
1.       Provide a wider audience to extraordinary artistes who have spent a lifetime honing their talent.
2.       Bring into public consciousness the beauty of the lyrics of Masters of poetry like   Ghalib, Momin, Kaifi Azmi, Sahir Ludhianvi and other stalwarts
3.       Start  and sustain an initiative to ensure a wider visibility through performance, education and appreciation of our  legacy of music and literature so that this rich living heritage continues to survive and flourish.
4.       It is a truism that a person is shaped by his environment, his thoughts and therefore his personality and actions are an outcome of whatever he assimilates through his senses namely through the audio-visual media.
5.       At SAKSHI we want to direct our efforts to revive the rich cultural heritage of our country and provide an appealing alternative to the lyrics which make words like “balatkaar” and “Halkat Jawani” the common denominator.
