Sunit Tandon introduces a live recording from the Metropolitan Opera House, starring the sensational Anna Netrebko. It’s the story of love between Elvira & Arthur, set against the backdrop of the English Civil War of the 1640s. The dramatic events leading up to their wedding make Elvira believe that she has been abandoned by Arturo & she loses her mind. However, Arturo and Elvira are eventually reunited and it all ends happily.
