Event Description : EXHIBITION "Contemporary Artists from Vietnam : An Exhibition of Artworks" to celebrate the 45th Anniversary of Vietnam-India Diplomatic Relations. 

On the eve of the 45th diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India (1972-2017), Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in New Delhi has invited a group of Vietnamese artists to show their art work. This, official celebration from 5th to 10th January 2017 of the Government of Vietnam, is marked as a Cultural Week of Vietnam in New Delhi. On this auspicious occasion, twenty well known contemporary artists consisting of painters, sculptors and photographers from Hanoi, Hue, and Ho Chi Minh City have gathered here to exhibit their extra-ordinary art presentation. The present exhibition has two parts. First part displays 45 artworks of Vietnamese painters, designers, sculptors, lacquer artists, do paper designers etc. Second part of the exhibition displays 45 photographs of the panoramic view and natural beauty, life-style, religious beliefs, customs as well as culture as a whole of the people of Vietnam. In the last 30 years, these art works are well appreciated and have received prominence worldwide. The next program of these artists will be held in Kolkata.
