Patrick Geddes (1832-1954) was one of the world’s leading twentieth-century thinkers on civics, planning and urban development. Some of his most important work was produced during the ten years (1914-1924) that he spent based in India, most notably his longest and most comprehensive city plan – the two-volume Indore Plan, published in 1918
A rare copy of the Indore Report of Geddes is available (for reference) at the India Collection, IIC Library
