Event Description : ORGAN India presents Collaborative Conclave for Organ Donation.

A Collaborative Conclave for Organ Donation is being held on 1st December, 2016 in Delhi where the NGOs for organ donation will come together along with NOTTO, to set collaborative goals, share material, discuss challenges and set the tone for collectively reaching out to millions of people in India.

Dr. Padma Shri Dr. (Prof.) Jagdish Prasad, Director General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India will inaugurate the Conclave hosted by ORGAN India in association with NOTTO.

The Organ Receiving & Giving Awareness Network (ORGAN) India, is an initiative that was launched in March 2013 by The Parashar Foundation, (a Delhi-based NGO) to address the dismal state of deceased organ donation in India. They seek to remedy this shortage of organ donors, and help create an ecosystem to facilitate organ donation in India.
