Event Description : THEATRE : Akshara Theatre presents R.K. Narayan’s "The English Teacher" English Play. 
An Old World Culture presentation.

The story of English teacher Krishna and his wife Susila encompasses romance, humour, tragedy and hope in a tale that transcends space, time and destiny. Set in Manhattan and Mysore in two different time zones, the play is an almost autobiographical account of R.K. Narayan’s own experiences, interwoven with excerpts from his later diaries.
