Event Description : FILM : Peace Builders International Film Festival. 

23 documentaries, animation and fiction films from India, Iran, Sri Lanka, Canada, Pakistan, South Korea, Nigeria, Indonesia, Argentine, Afghanistan, Yemen, Sweden, Israel, USA, Denmark, France and Paraguay.
The festival is part of the International Women's Meet on Nonviolence and Peace that will held in Jalgaon, Maharashtra in early October at the Gandhi Research Foundation with 200 women gathering from different parts of the world. 50 of the international peace activists will be travelling to Delhi for the festival.​
​Films celebrating women's immense role in non violent conflict resolution within their families, communities, countries in their diverse, and often complicated contexts.
Some of the highlights of the festival are the much acclaimed The Look of Silence by Joshua Oppenheimer, Lyari Notes by Maheen Zia and Miriam Chandy, No More Tears Sister by Helene Kladowsky, Silence in the Courts by Prasanna Vithanage and Us Women Them Women by Julia Pesce. Filmmakers Sudath Abeysiriwardana, Yirmian Arthur, Uzma Falak and Pradeep Lekhwar​ will be attending the festival. In addition, protagonists from 3 of the films will also be attending: Sampat Pal from Gulabi Gang, Sharifa Khanam from Invoking Justice and Ishaa Chopra from Ishaa Journals. The award winning films of the short film contest on What Peace Means to Me will also be screened at the festival, and the winners will be felicitated. All the award winners - Meena Longjam from Imphal, Hema Hebbagodi from Bengaluru, Eva Boumans from MERDS, Chennai, and six girls from Feminist Approach to Tecnology (FAT), New Delhi - will be attending.
