Event Description : IHC WALK : Take a walk through the ongoing exhibition of modern and contemporary art at the British Council Collection. Scholar Tanya Singal will lead the way through the iconic 1920s London Underground posters, Cornwall with Terry Frost’s abstraction, Eduardo Paolozzi’s works from the 1960s and the beginning of Pop Art, further developed by Patrick Caulfield. Take in Tom Philips’ process-based art of the 1970s, Adrian Wiszniewski’s the New Glasgow Boys, David Hepher and Howard Hodgkin combining the figurative and the abstract, photography by Fay Godwin, works of Damien Hirst and Marc Quinn and more!
