An Abstract world----A hard boiled sweet candy and a chocolatier's confectionery. The difference between these two is precisely the difference between the abstracts by a newbie and a master artist. Nitish Bhattacharjee's upcoming show will feature about eighteen large and small format abstract works. Bhattacharjee is a proficient artist who did his art education from the Indore school of art. extremely good at realism, the artist says it took him years to evolve abstraction on canvas and paper.the abstract s are mellow and nuanced beautiful colors contrast and coordinate perfectly, and flat spaces are given due attention. Bhattacharjee has clearly studied the grammar of art and then broken it to evolve his own style.Abstracts are tricky to review because they are open to interpretations. But a good abstract will nudge the viewer to see things in a way the artist had wanted in this case, the artist has opened up his world.
