Event Description : WORKSHOP "Talking Photography : Speaking For Others" by Justin Coombes. 

An interactive, hands-on two-day workshop for intermediate photographers (not absolute beginners), who will learn to use photography (and text if you wish) to tell a very short story from an unusual perspective. It might be from the point of view of a bird, a dog, an historical figure, or even an inanimate object such as a building or a piece of rubbish.

Justin Coombes is based in London and holds a PhD in Fine Art from the Royal College of Art. He lectures at Southampton Solent University and the Ruskin School of Art, Oxford University. His awards include the British Oxygen Company, Arts Council England and the Oxford University Research Council in the Humanities.

Please note: the workshop is a two day event, beginning on the 13 th and continuing on the 20 th of August.

This workshop is a part of India Habitat Centre’s Photosphere. Photosphere aims to bring together the diverse spheres of art and environmental awareness through exhibitions, workshops and events.
