Event Description : THEATRE : White Noise Productions & Behroopiya present "The Love of Don Kuka" English Romantic Comedy play.


Synopsis: The Love of Don Kuka is an abstract adaption of the original, The Love of Don
Perlimplin and Belisa in the Garden by Federico Garcia Lorca. Whilst the play is contemporary to engage today's audience, it is heavily influenced by Spanish culture and traditions. Through this play, we aim to tell the story of an eccentric Don and his lover, Belisa.

About the theatre company: White Noise was founded in June 2014. The co-founders Pallav
Chander and Debontika Das believe in keeping the tradition of theatre alive and classy. Their previous productions include SHE and Crimson, which were critically acclaimed. Their latest play, The Love of Don Kuka is another attempt to redefining comedy, redefining theatre.

Directed by : Pallav Chander
About the director: Pallav Chander, an artist by profession and a theatre addict by passion, he believes in letting his work speak. He started theatre at the age of 6 and since then he has acted in various plays and recently turned to direction with his play, “How Do We Do”.
