Event Description : British Council and BFI present the Much Ado About Nothing, a series of screenings of prominent Shakespeare film titles across the country.

This witty and fast-paced version of Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing is arguably one of the best Shakespeare adaptations ever filmed. Directed by Kenneth Branagh this 1993 adaptation is a must watch.  

The cinematography accentuates the lush Tuscan landscape in which Branagh as the humorous Benedick, and Emma Thompson, as the wilful and challenging Beatrice, bring this adaptation to life.
