Event Description : EXHIBITION "Where Dreams Come From" A solo art show by Arushi Nayar.

Where do dreams come from? We know our minds are making them up, but how? The artist often looks at art with the same sense of wonder, and feels that the inspiration is coming from somewhere outside of her. The exhibition features paintings in oils as well as acrylics, that give a visual form to feelings, emotions and ideas that can only be perceived or experienced. Feel free to interpret the work any way you like. After all, art can be as abstract, strange and enigmatic as dreams themselves. 

Artist: Arushi Nayar is an artist, filmmaker and writer. She has trained under the guidance of senior artist Mrs. Vijaya Bagai, and taken part in group shows at AIFACS, Epicentre and D Art Factory. Her paintings and drawings have been purchased by art connoisseurs in New Delhi, London and USA. As a filmmaker, she has written, directed and edited short films, and also worked as the Casting Director of the internationally acclaimed feature film, ‘Ship of Theseus’. An ex-copywriter, she has worked with advertising agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, Mumbai and Iris, Gurgaon.
