Event Description : EXHIBITION "Divine Aura" a solo show of paintings by Sujata Agrawal.
According to the Bhagavad Purana, Krishna is termed as Svayama God since he is purna avatar or full incarnation of Supreme God Vishnu. There was none to match Sri Krishna in beauty and elegance of form in all the three worlds.
My work "Divine Aura" depicts the different moods and karma of Lord Krishna from childhood to Mahabharata. His love and affection towards parents, elders, doing odd unusual activities at very tender age, loving and caring hero of Gopis and Radha. His tender was towards Dharma and Karma, guiding Pandava towards Karma. My paintings depict all these thoughts through my own contemporary style using color scheme which suits the character of Krishna in different tone of blue. Its deep blue is the colour of eternity, sky and ocean. Krishna is the symbol of body and spirit. Blue is the symbolic colour of peace, coolness and greatness is used to create harmony with other colours like orange and purple shades. I believe in bright colours and bold strokes which could be seen in the entire work.
