Event Description : Kanak Theatre Presents "Haai Paisa Haai" Hindi Comedy play.

Haai Paisa Haai- is a musical comedy based on common   man’s greed for more and more money. Pappu is a villager who gets transferred in the city and he starts living there with his wife Rampyari. Now in the city Pappu and Rampyari also gets caught in the web of greed. Both of them start following the lifestyle of the city blindly without checking the pros and cons of the things. One thing leads to another and at the end Pappu is the only one who gets hurt. After his death Pappu goes to heaven and spreads the same disease of greed in heaven as well. As a result he is thrown out of heaven as well. The writer uses comic satirical language and questions the system and the very common man as well. We very easily blame the system but we never look deep in our heart. It’s our own small negligence which leads to big political scams in our country. We want the results but never fulfil our duties. We ourselves break the rules and when we get hurt we just put the blame on others. At the end the play very rightly tells us that to improve our country and our system than we need to act wisely and enlighten ourselves first.
