Event Description : Italian Embassy Cultural Centre presents Evening of Italian Ethnic Music by Kalascima Band.

An infectious trance-folk experience of percussion, vocal and electronic sound, a unique musical fusion of ancient traditional dance rituals from South Italy (Salento)known as taranta, with modern day electronic music.


The explosive, energetic & captivating Kalāscima feature many fascinating instruments (bagpipe, traditional flutes, Italian organetto), a spectacularly vast array of percussion, thrilling vocal and modern instrument (bass guitar and loop machine).
