India Habitat Centre World Dance Day Tribute

Dancer, choreographer, writer, promoter of crafts, environmentalist, woman of wit and beauty, Lt. Mrinalini Sarabhai's life was a celebration of life itself. In an evening of memories, her children and grandchildren, friends and colleagues pay a tribute to the legend.  

Short videos of her dancing, performances by Mallika and Revanta Sarabhai, and brief talks by Dr Kapila Vatsyayan ( on her dance and choreography) 
Dr Sunil Kothari ( on her breaking with dance traditions and her social conscience )
Bharat Bhasin ( on her commitment to the crafts and her guiding Gurjari ) and her son Kartikeya Sarabhai ( on her commitment to the environment )
