Event Description : SHADOW THEATRE "My Name is Red" Presented by Papiertheatre, France.
Based on Orhan Pamuk’s novel

Trained at John and Lyndie Wright’s Little Angel Theatre of London, Alain Lecucq established shadow theatre company, La Citrouille, with Annie Bizeau in the 1970s. He was also attracted to paper theatre and began collecting reproductions and original sheets of paper theatre. He also adapted these ‘historic’ theatres to contemporary stage productions, keeping its important characteristics, cardboard and flat form.
