Event Description : Shri Harshvardhan Neotia, Jnana Pravaha and NaadSaagar Archives & Documentation Society for South Asian Music Presents "Mehfil" With Smt Apoorva Gokhale (Khayal)

Smt Apoorva Gokhale was born into a rich legacy of music, representing the 5th generation of the heritage of her family. She is the great grand-daughter of Pandit Anant Manohar Joshi and the grand-daughter of Pandit Gajananrao Joshi, both of whom are illustrious figures in the lineages of the Gwalior, Agra and Jaipur-Atrauli gharanas. For this special mehfil, Apoorva will present ragas and bandishes closely associated with the legacy of Pandit Gajananrao Joshi who initiated her into the world of music
