Basha Ensemble Members and Instruments

Peyman Khazeni-Composer-Tar player-Basha Ensemble music manager : He is an Iranian composer and Tar player.He established Basha Ensemble in 2008. He also learned Persian classical music with various masters including Farhad Fakhreddini, Hengameh Akhavan. Amir Islami and RaminBehna.His performances of Persian music and his many released albums in various forms such as traditional, Persian classical, instrumental and fusion, attached audiences in the years.

Morteza Sanayei-Ney player : Born in 1975 in Shahreza. He began his musical studies with music masters and the very well-known master Hasan Kasaei.He has released 2 instrumental albums and has perfomed concerts in Iran and other countries such as: France,Greece,Germany and other places. 

Rabeh Zand-Qanun player : Born in 1982 in Tehran-Iran. He plays Kanun and has performed  at several concerts and participated in many albums,both in Iran and abroad.

Shayan  Yazdizadeh-Tonbak player : Born in 1987 in Tehran, he started learning music when he was 10. He has performed concerts along with various music bands and  has participated in many music albums as Tonbak and Tar player.

Haniyeh Gholibeikian-Vocalist : Born in 1989 in Tehran, Haniyeh is a traditional Iranian vocalist.Has been trained under famous masters as Sedigh Taarif, AliJahadar and Parviz Khazdouz. 

Astiaj Ziaei- BashaEnsemble  : Born in 1983 in Tehran,she has participated in many music albums as executive manager in Iran and beyond. She is also the executive manager of Basha Ensemble since its foundation. She also has been recording her album based on the poetry of the Iranian legend poet Omar Khayam.
