Event Description : 'Kavdsa (Journey With Light)', a fine art photography project by Shailan Parker. 

An accomplished photographer, Shailan Parker brings to the city,‘Kavadsa’, the first of a series of exhibitions, which would project photography as art in the digital medium. Shailan uses his expertise in lighting to abstract art from nature. He balances skill, technique and art to merge the gap between  the artificial and the natural, resulting in aesthetically beautiful, organic images
.
‘Kavadsa’, a Marathi word, loosely translates to the light that enters a darkened room through chinks in a tilled roof. ‘Kavadsa’ is an amalgamation of Shailan’s personal expression and the experience that he has accumulated over the years. A censorial experience, ‘Kavadsa’ is more than a photography show. Along with the ‘Kavadsa’ collection, the show also emulates the concept of 'Kavadsa' through a spatial play of projections and light.
