Event Description : Exhibition "Art Reflect 2016" an annual charity art show fundraiser for Udaan
Art reflect 2016 is an annual charity art show fundraiser for Udaan, a non profit foundation for children with autism. The art exhibition will showcase the works of 20 eminent artists of repute who will donate two or three works for the cause.
The confirm artists are Anjali Ela Menon, Ashok Dilwali, Farhad Husain, Jai Zharotia, Jagannath Panda, Jayasri Panda, Jogen Chowdhary, K.S. Radhakrishnan, Lalu Prasad Shaw, Madhvi Parekh, Manu Parekh, Paresh Maity, P.R. Daroz, Rajeev Lochan, Raghu Rai, Rameshwar Broota, Sakti Burman, Veer Munshi and Yuriko Lochan.
Art reflect is an initiative by award winning international architect, Recipient of NDTV awards for heritage conservation (TERI’s award for India’s first five star rated Green home) Nilanjan Bhowal who is bringing together these artists and special children together for a social cause.
Udaan is the main activity centre of non profit trust: Foundation for Spastic and mentally handicapped persons UDAAN is the main activity centre of a non profit trust: Foundation for Spastic and Mentally Handicapped Persons. Its founder trustees, and by sheer determination and dedication, has achieved National and International level recognition for its work with Neuro developmentally delayed disorders in children: the most difficult group to manage.
UDAAN is one of Delhi’s foremost research based NPO for Training, Rehabilitation and Early Medical Intervention with Integration of children with moderate to severe Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Mental Retardation, Traumatic Brain Injury and Learning Disabilities to lead a better quality of life, and to help them return to their rightful place in society and gainful employment wherever possible.
We also help and guide parents/guardians of these special children regarding diagnosis and evaluation of brain-related disabilities, home management and selection of special schools. Our guidance includes trying to improve the quality of life of disabled children wherever we can.
