Event Description : “Art for Concern” the Annual affordable show of Indian art.

Art for Concern, the affordable show of Indian art, promises to be a rich aesthetic event for avid art collectors and enthusiasts in the city. A fundraising initiative at its core, Art for Concern was initiated in 1998 and has carved a niche for itself by displaying works of young, upcoming artists alongside those of well established names. Paintings and sculptures by over 40 artists from across the country will be on display; all are priced under Rs. 99,000, providing a rare opportunity for enthusiasts to get a hold of works by the likes of Jogen Chowdhury, Jayasri Burman, Paresh Maity, Nayanaa Kanodia, Shyamal Mukherjee and T. Vaikuntam at affordable rates.
