Event Description : Tapaswini Nav Sadhna presents ‘Dance at First Sight’

Dance at First Sight returns for its third edition on Valentine’s Day to spread Love through Dance. A show which promises to be different from any Valentine’s Day celebration that you have ever witnessed. There won’t be a candle light dinner, nor will there be exorbitantly priced gifts and most importantly there will be a complete absence of puffy declarations of love. What it does promise to do is envelop you in an atmosphere of love in all its forms. The one’s which make for a great Valentine’s Day story but also the one’s which break our hearts a little. 
The show provides a platform to young dancers and choreographers to present their unique and varying perspectives of love. The show also envisions to raise awareness about Tapaswini Nav Sadhna, an NGO which works towards the upliftment of the underprivileged and the differently abled. It also encourages young talent in the field of Dance by providing them with prestigious avenues to perform.
The show will feature renowned artists and companies like Banjara School of Dance(Belly Dance), Sadhya(Mayurbhanj Chhau) who have performed and taught internationally and have excelled on popular dance television shows such as Dance+, Just Dance, Dance India Dance, India’s Got Talent and Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega. It will also feature young, upcoming choreographers and dancers in the city.
The show will bring together different dance genres such as Chhau, Belly Dance, Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, to showcase various aspects of love and relationships.
