Participants have to bear the cost of travel, accommodation and food during their stay in Delhi for this workshop. Tea would be served, while Lunch would be given on first and last day of the workshop.

Event Description : Conservation Division of Indira Ganhdi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) is going to organize a 5 day workshop on lining of canvas painting from 18th January 2016 to 22nd January 2016. This
workshop is focused on available methods of lining, its merits and demerits. This would also
embrace the recent advancement in lining of canvas paintings. This proposed workshop would be
coordinated by Sh. Anil Dwivedi (Sr. Conservator, Project) , Sh. Anil Verma (Sr. Conservator, Project)
and Sh. Minesh Harinkhede (Technical Restorer, NRLC), who received training in conservation of
painting at Limburg Conservation Institute, Stichting Restauratie Atelier Limburg (SRAL), the
Netherlands under Ministry of Culture , Govt of India and Mellon Foundation fellowship programme.
Participants: This is a Technical workshop and only opens for conservation professionals, Students
of M.A (conservation) holding degree in conservation or equivalent.
