About:
· Aalok Ji is an astute Hindi Scholar and a well-known poet, widely regarded as one of the greatest poets of his age. His contribution to the dying art of Hindi Ghazals is exemplary in the sense that when he is on stage, he entrails the audience beyond comparison.
· ‘Aameen’ was his first collection of poems that became a success instantaneously and was published in multiple editions. His contribution in editing many of the famous works of legendary poets from Hindi and Urdu poetry space to national languages is commendable.
· Aalok Ji has also written for many major social concerns such as Nirbhaya and Gudia rape cases, and the Uttarakhand flood relief for various TV news channel.
· His creation for the famous Sitar player Anoushka Shankar got him nominated for the very prestigious Grammy Award 2012. And that’s not all, his latest social writing contribution for a Hindi feature film ‘Can’t Take This SHIT Anymore’ was awarded with the National Award 2015, the highest and most esteemed honor in the Indian Film Industry.
