Event Description : Autograph Collectors Club of India (ACCI) presents "Autographex-2015" Second National Exhibition on Autographs
In this exhibition, The collectors from all part of world will participate in the Exhibition and exhibits their Autographs collections from all wake of life, i.e., Global Leaders, Astronauts, Bollywood /Hollywood stars, Nobel Laureates, President and Prime Ministers of India, other Political leaders, Paramvir Chakras, Bharat Ratnas, Padma Awardees, freedom fighters, sports persons, Musicians and other renowned personalities in all fields. Some of the exhibits will be Mahatma Gandhi, Pt. Jawarhar Lal Nehru, Rabindra Nath Tagore, Sardar Patel, Mother Teresa, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria, Jacqueline Kennedy, Amitabh Bachchan, Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Rakesh Sharma, Kalpana Chawla Dancers like Sitra Devi, M.S. Subhlakhmi, Painters like M.F Hussain with no end to it. We are also looking forward to the participation by celebrities from Bollywood, Ministers and national political leaders, musicians, Nobel Laureates, leading sport persons, member of Royal families, authors and other renowned personalities to grace the exhibition.
Autograph Collectors Club of India (ACCI) is the only club in India to promote the hobby of Autograph collection. More than 1200 autographs’ collectors are member of the ACCI from India and abroad and many of our senior members wrote a various books and collector guide on Autographs and made a record in autograph collection and their names are included in Limca Book of Records and other records as well. Our main objective is to preserve our heritage and history for future generations, so that coming generations will get to know about it.
In the past, ACCI had organized numerous Autograph Exhibitions in several parts of India. In the year 2004, ACCI organised First Auto-graphic Exhibition in New Delhi at AIFACS. It was inaugurated by Mr. M. S. Gill (Former Union Sports Minister) and the Chief Guest for the closing ceremony was Mr. Rajyaverdhan Rother currently holding the position of a minister in Central Ministry Cabinet and other guests included Padamshree Mr. V. Sutar, Hindustan Times cartoonist Mr. Sudhir Dhar. Dr. Arya, (now retired as Director General of Police Delhi) did visit the exhibition and oblige children & collectors with his autographs. It was well covered by all news paper like Hindustan Times, Indian Express, BBC etc and News channel like Star news, Zee News etc.
