Event Description : Habitat Concert Series. Touch- A Piano recital using multimedia by Anil Srinivasan. Based on the concept of 'touch' the live performance will use multimedia and focus on sounds of the instrument across genres of the Classical, Western and Jazz.

Chennai-based noted pianist Anil Srinivasan will be launching Touch, a solo piano album along with a live performance onNovember 3rd at 7pm - 8.15pm. Touch is the first piano album to be launched by a pianist in India. The concept of this album will be based on 'touch' and will use a multimedia narrative that will focus on sounds of the instrument across genres of the Classical, Western and Jazz and promises to be an evening of eclectic sounds of the Piano. 

About the Artist : Anil Srinivasan is a classical pianist known for his versatility in playing the different genres of Indian classical music as well Western music.  He often collaborates with some of the finest musicians from different styles and schools of music. In recent times, he has worked with blues guitarist Randy Bernsen, hiphop project "Airdit" and his own solo works across the globe have been praised for their uniqueness and their connectivity with varied audiences.


Anil is also the founder of Rhapsody Music Foundation, which is aimed to take music into the curriculum of schools serving all strata of society and reaches nearly 80,000 children across South India.
