Event Description : CMS Vatavaran presents "The Attack Of 1.5 Degrees, The Sea Of Jeju" documentary film screening.
It's been over 20 years since a full-fledged debate over global warming began. Jeju Island is located on the southernmost part of East Asia, and is considered to have one of the most valuable eco-systems in the world. On a mission to reveal the reality of global warming, the producers observed and pursued the sea of Jeju for a year, where a 1.5 degrees drop in water temperature have been taking place in the waters for the past 40 years. The attack of exotic species is a result of overwhelming global warming. The great spawning of local species and exotic species are adaptations to survive in a rapidly changing environment. The ocean groans, but the struggle goes on to adjust to dramatic changes.
