Throughout the Indian history and mythology the women has always been celebrated, revered and prayed to. However, in the recent times the country continues to loose its respect for women though actions of few misinformed individuals which leads to we being labeled as country where rape happens and women are not safe. This beckons the question, what is rape, and along with it brings about multitude of discussions and analysis. lets go back to our mythology and see how women were disprected at every stage and yet they were expected to accpet it.toady do we still have to follow that traditon and bear the humilation Through this presentation the artist wishes to use Dance & Drama as a medium of reform, social awakening and spread the message of “Live women Live”.
