Event Description : “Bharat – A Journey” A Solo Exhibitions of Paintings by Ms. Sarbdeep Jaswal.
The subject of old sculptures and their impression on us has been very delicately captured. The composition highlights the connection of the subject with the living and life around it.
One of the many facets of Bharat is its spirituality. The artist has captured the essence of spirituality in juxtaposition with modernism, hence creating an outstanding piece of art,communicating volumes of deep insights.
Sarbdeep Jaswal (Pretty) was born in Punjab in the holy city of Amritsar. She has done her MA (Fine Arts) from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
As an artist her work has been visible in many shows at various locations in Delhi, Chandigarh and Jaipur. Her work has been chosen By Lalit Kala Academy (Chandigarh) for their annual event. Recently in the 100 th year of NDMC her work was chosen and highly appreciated by senior artists and art critiques.
Sarbdeep is also associated with the Pracheen Kala Kendra and runs a studio in Delhi where art lovers from all walks of society and all age groups are welcome to pursue their interest.
